IEC 60598-2-21 21.7 Binding Apparatus for Rope Light 

Overview of equipment:

The lamp twine rope winding test device is made to meet the test requirements of Chapter 6.14 of IEC 60598-2-20: 2002 and GB7000.9-2008 standards and the requirements of Figure 3. This device mainly examines whether the sealed lamp string has enough mechanical strength.

The main technical parameters:

The qualification of the rigid lamp string is checked by repeating each test listed below for 45 times in turn:

A) the tension of 60n is not suddenly applied to the end of the pipe and lasts for 1min.

B) Torque of 0.15 N m is applied to the end of the pipe in the most unfavorable direction (when in doubt, selectively), and it lasts for 1min. (Torque equipment is required)

The qualification of soft light string is checked by the following additional tests with this device after the above A and B tests.

Test: apply a pulling force of 60N, and wind the hose into a cylinder with a diameter of 250mm. The winding times and the ambient temperature of the test shall be as follows:

—IP20 lamp string at 25℃ 5℃ for 10 times

—10 times at 25℃ 5℃ for lamp strings above —IP20.

Then-15℃ 5℃ for 10 times.
