The instrument has the timing of the sample movement time and automatically calculates the final result of the kinematic viscosity. The method is suitable for determining the kinematic viscosity of a liquid petroleum product (referred to as Newtonian liquid) in units of m2/s, which is usually used in practice as mm2/s. The kinetic viscosity is obtained by multiplying the measured kinematic viscosity by the density of the liquid.
