Application
It is used to check whether the toys' gap of children to confirms the safety requirement.
Testing procedures
1. The hinge line clearance
When the fixed parts of the toys and the movable parts which are over 0.25KG have gap in the hinge line, all the parts in the hinge line should be inserted into the round bar of φ12mm if the the gap can be inserted into the round bar ofφ5mm.
2. the round hole in the rigid material.
For the accessible round hole in any rigid material of which the thickness is under 1.58mm of the toys used by the children below 60 months, if it can be inserted into the round bar of φ6mm and the insertion depth is overφ10mm, it should be inserted into the round bar of φ12mm.
3. the gap between the movable parts.
For the toys used by the children under 96 months, if the accessible gaps between removable parts can be inserted into the round bar of φ5mm . it should be also inserted into the round bar ofφ12mm.
4. wind-up key
For the wind-up key used by the children under 36 months,if the gap between the handle of the key and the toys can be inserted into the round bar ofφ5mm, it should be also inserted into the round bar ofφ12mm. And there is no round hole that can be inserted into the round bar of φ5mm in the handle of the key.
