SL-FL13 Single Burning Item

Product Overview
SL-FL13 Single Burning Item strictly complies with GB/T 20284‑2006 and BS EN 13823, along with other internationally recognised test standards. It is ideally suited for fire performance classification testing and R&D of building materials, decorative materials, and thermal insulation products. The apparatus features a double‑vertical specimen trolley configuration equipped with a propane sandbox burner, and integrates high‑precision heat release and smoke production rate measurement, UV flame‑out protection, and fully automatic intelligent control.
This helps you accurately assess the fire reaction characteristics of your products, successfully pass the GB/T 8624 fire classification certification, and accelerate your product’s time to market.
Technical Overview
1. System Composition
- Trolley (holds two vertical specimens) + fixed frame + gas collection hood + J‑type exhaust duct
- Centrifugal fan + speed control unit + comprehensive measurement section + gas analysis cabinet + data acquisition system
2. Specimen Trolley and Ignition System
- Two vertical specimen positions; sandbox burner at bottom of vertical angle
- Surface ignition method; flame detection system provides flameout protection
- Auxiliary burner mounted on fixed frame, also equipped with flame detection
3. Exhaust System
- Stainless steel gas collection hood at top of frame
- Stainless steel J‑type exhaust pipe: inner diameter (315±5) mm, with 50 mm high‑temperature mineral wool insulation
- Continuous exhaust flow rate: 0.50 – 0.65 m³/s, frequency‑controlled
- Centrifugal fan: withstands up to 300°C, suitable for step‑calibration high‑temperature conditions
4. Gas Supply and Flow Control
- Mass flow controller: range 0 – 2.5 g/s, accuracy ≥ 1.5% of reading
- Automatic gas supply control to 647 mg/s and 2000 mg/s; supply rate variation ≤ 5 mg/s during test, ensuring heat output of 30.7 ± 2 kW
5. Flue Gas Sampling and Conditioning System
- Components: ash filter → cold trap → two drying columns → sampling pump → peristaltic pump
- Ash filter head: solid PTFE with 0.5 µm internal filter material
- Diaphragm pump: flow rate 400 L/h, high‑temperature and corrosion‑resistant
- Compressor condenser: cooling capacity 320 kJ/h, dew‑point stability 0.1°C, static variation 0.1 K, IP20 protection
- Imported rotameter: range 0 – 5 L/min, adjusts analyzer inlet flow

- Detector: silicon photodiode with:

- 10‑bit measurement range
- Spectral response consistent with CIE V(λ) curve, accuracy ≥ ±5%
- 90% response time of optical attenuation system ≤ 3 s
- Compressed air introduced into side tube to keep optical device clean and maintain drift specification
