Product Description

Building Material Flammability Test Furnace with Touch Screen Control

SL-FL13 Single Burning Item

Provide accurate and reliable data support for the testing of the combustion properties of your materials.

Product Overview

SL-FL13 Single Burning Item strictly complies with GB/T 20284‑2006 and BS EN 13823, along with other internationally recognised test standards. It is ideally suited for fire performance classification testing and R&D of building materials, decorative materials, and thermal insulation products. The apparatus features a double‑vertical specimen trolley configuration equipped with a propane sandbox burner, and integrates high‑precision heat release and smoke production rate measurement, UV flame‑out protection, and fully automatic intelligent control.

This helps you accurately assess the fire reaction characteristics of your products, successfully pass the GB/T 8624 fire classification certification, and accelerate your product’s time to market.

Technical Overview

  • Surface ignition method; flame detection system provides flameout protection
  • Auxiliary burner mounted on fixed frame, also equipped with flame detection

3. Exhaust System

  • Stainless steel gas collection hood at top of frame
  • Stainless steel J‑type exhaust pipe: inner diameter (315±5) mm, with 50 mm high‑temperature mineral wool insulation
  • Continuous exhaust flow rate: 0.50 – 0.65 m³/s, frequency‑controlled
  • Centrifugal fan: withstands up to 300°C, suitable for step‑calibration high‑temperature conditions

4. Gas Supply and Flow Control

  • Mass flow controller: range 0 – 2.5 g/s, accuracy ≥ 1.5% of reading
  • Automatic gas supply control to 647 mg/s and 2000 mg/s; supply rate variation ≤ 5 mg/s during test, ensuring heat output of 30.7 ± 2 kW

5. Flue Gas Sampling and Conditioning System

  • Components: ash filter → cold trap → two drying columns → sampling pump → peristaltic pump
  • Ash filter head: solid PTFE with 0.5 µm internal filter material
  • Diaphragm pump: flow rate 400 L/h, high‑temperature and corrosion‑resistant
  • Compressor condenser: cooling capacity 320 kJ/h, dew‑point stability 0.1°C, static variation 0.1 K, IP20 protection
  • Imported rotameter: range 0 – 5 L/min, adjusts analyzer inlet flow

6. Gas Analysers (O₂ and CO₂)

7. Measurement Section (Pipe and Sensors)

  • A 2155 mm pipeline containing:
  • Pressure probe
  • Three thermocouples
  • Gas sampling probe
  • White light system
  • Two‑way pressure probe: range (0 – 100) Pa, accuracy ±2 Pa, 90% response time ≤ 1 s
  • Gas sampling probe connected to gas regulation device and O₂/CO₂ inlet analysers

8. Smoke Measurement – Optical System

  • Light source: incandescent type, colour temperature (2900 ± 100) K
  • Mounted on exhaust pipe side via flexible joint
  • Lens system: collects light into parallel beam ≥ 20 mm diameter; light‑emitting hole diameter (d) and lens focal length (f) satisfy d/f < 0.04
  • Detector: silicon photodiode with:
  • Linear stability: 0.1%
  • 10‑bit measurement range
  • Spectral response consistent with CIE V(λ) curve, accuracy ≥ ±5%
  • 90% response time of optical attenuation system ≤ 3 s
  • Compressed air introduced into side tube to keep optical device clean and maintain drift specification

9. Software and Calibration Functions

Software provides interfaces for:

  • O₂/CO₂ analyser calibration (noise and drift)
  • Optical system calibration (noise and drift for smoke measurement)
  • Optical system filter calibration
  • Air volume calibration (control range)
  • Step calibration and heptane calibration

Step calibration requirements:

  • O₂/CO₂ analyser delay time ≤ 30 s
  • O₂/CO₂ analyser response time ≤ 12 s
  • Burner switch response time ≤ 12 s
  • Temperature response time ≤ 6 s
  • Ratio Q_gas_30s(T) / HRR_30s(T) shall be continuous at (100 ± 5)%
  • Difference between average HRR of step 2 and step 3 ≤ 0.5 kW

Heptane calibration acceptance:

  • Calorific value per unit mass: THR/m = 4456 ± 222.8 MJ/kg

10. Test Output Parameters
